For people, it is reasonably well arranged: since 1976, the European Cosmetics Directive (76/768/EEC) has protected the safety, transparency and quality of care products. For animals, nothing of the kind exists.
There is no cosmetics law for dog care. Manufacturers can put almost anything in — without oversight, without accountability.
We hold our products for dogs to the same high standards that apply to people. That has to change, we believe.
Because what you put on a dog's skin deserves at least the same diligence. With your help we can make the difference: by choosing safe, transparent care you send a powerful signal — our dogs deserve better.

Our Sheltered Workshop
For people with an intellectual or emotional disability, taking part in our society is very difficult. In a sheltered workshop, these people can develop themselves, build friendships and even relationships.
Here they can be happy and experience a true sense of fulfilment. That is why we deliberately choose to work with a sheltered workshop.
Developed together with experts
Our products are developed and refined together with leading dog groomers from the Netherlands and Belgium. No one knows better what a dog's coat needs to stay glossy, healthy and easy to comb through.
Our Dry Shampoo & Conditioner is the perfect example: a gentle, effective formula that helps prevent tangles and matting. Ideal for dogs with a sensitive or curly coat, such as labradoodles.

Indian soap nuts
An age-old natural cleanser from the Himalayas. Soap nuts produce saponin — a plant-based cleansing agent that is gentle on skin and coat, works effectively against irritation and has a natural antiparasitic action.
Aloe vera
Well known from human skincare — and for good reason. Aloe vera hydrates, soothes and supports the skin's recovery. Packed with vitamins (A, B12, C and E) and with a proven anti-inflammatory effect.
Hemp seed oil
Nourishes the skin, strengthens the coat and stimulates hair growth. Hemp seed oil supports a dog's own keratin protein and contains essential fatty acids such as linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid, with an anti-inflammatory and restorative effect.
Radical transparency

These substances are common in commercial care products, but they don't fit our view of responsible care. That is why we deliberately leave them out.

Synthetic foaming agents that can strip the skin's natural oils.
parabens
Preservatives that have been linked to hormone disruption.
phthalates
Synthetic fragrance carriers and fixatives that can build up in the body.
peg's (polyethylene glycols)
Emulsifiers that can weaken the skin barrier, allowing unwanted substances to penetrate more easily.
formaldehyde releasers
Preservatives that can release small amounts of formaldehyde — a substance known to be toxic.
triclosan
An antibacterial agent that can disrupt the skin's microbiome.
silicones (such as dimethicone)
They form a sealing layer over skin or coat that can upset the natural balance.
synthetic dyes
Added for appearance, not for any caring effect.
